Lifestyle: Brunch, My Favorite Meal of the Day

Forgive the repetition of the cape and hat combo but these brunch photos were just too delicious to not post.

Flying Pan is one of my favorite places to go, whether hungover and in dire need of carbs and bacon, or just for a lunch and gossip date.
My favorite spot to sit in the little nook in the corner. That way, you're partially hidden by the curtains but still see and hear the entire restaurant. As the years have passed, the customer base has become more and more international, so I hear bits of English, French, and other conversations as the words rise and waft in the air above.
A massive cup of tea hits the spot beautifully.
Rose Gold Rings: Doota Jeweler (delicate stacked ones similar here // double attached stacked similar here // snake ring similar here)
And the food.... ohhh the food.
My favorite Eggs and Ham Benedict with spinach and sweetly dressed potatoes... just look at that perfectly poached egg yolk oozing out.
We also sprung for ricotta, fig, and walnut pancakes with powdered sugar and maple syrup to share. SOOO decadent and perfect as a shared dessert.
Ridiculously excited for this pancake, you have no idea!
Another beautiful aspect about the restaurant is their daily (or at least every three day) change-up of flowers- it always gives me a thrill to see the variety of bouquets, fresh and dried, that they display in the restaurant.
