Travels: My Egypt Photo Diary Part Two

Egypt has excellent clouds.

One of my favorite dishes at Mövenpick Resort was this chicken caesar salad- I love when the dressing is properly proportioned to be evenly distributed throughout the lettuce.

The tuna sandwich was a meh.

This pasta was also a meh.

But this view though! Truly breathtaking sunsets and the reflections against the water... stunning.

Mandatory hot dog legs shot.

The best part of this resort was how low and warm the water was. It remained low for quite a ways from the shore. It is the ideal place for kite-surfing, apparently.

Pure happiness!

We usually didn't veer too far from the ocean side but came back to the pool area to graze on some food.

Fried calamari.

Steak, grilled veggies, and potatoes gratin. This was one of the three or four restaurants that were located on the extensive, sprawling resort, and this was by far the best one. It's the one near the spa.

Speaking of the spa, it was sheer bliss. Definitely get a massage and snooze through it, and come out feeling utterly relaxed and all the stress stretched and pounded right out of you. And the stunning details really add a thoughtful touch, such as this entire artistic flower plate concoction made lovingly with only flower petals and leaves.

Came out of the massage feeling zen and positively glowing.

Later, we decided to take a trip to the local square and soak in some architecture and do a bit of shopping.

I just can't over these clouds! I feel like I can just pluck them out of the sky!

Really beautiful red buildings glimmered as the sun started to set.

This baby had the cutest eyeballs I'd ever seen on a human. Adorable.

It was an all in-exclusive resort, so that means I was parked at the chocolate fondue station whenever they set it up, skewers of fruit ready to go!

It didn't start out in the most auspicious way, but Egypt and particularly the Mövenpick Resort was truly a gorgeous and tranquil place. The beach set up was near perfect, and that water level is unique! Definitely going back when I can <3
