OOTD: Monochrome Palm Fronds

Holy bajeebus it's humid in Seoul! You can almost taste the heat. The only items of clothing worth wearing are the thinnest wisps of materials that barely graze your skin, hence my reliance on the silkiest of dresses that give me some/a little/any reprieve from this weather.

Dress: H&M (similar dress here or romper here)
Belt: Random Store in Myungdong (similar on sale here)
Heels: Zara (similar on sale here)
Bag: Prada Saffiano 2274 in Cammeo
Sunglasses: Michael Kors (similar here)

I started with my hair down but then put it up as the heat started to take its toll on me. So these photos are in chronological/comfort disorder.

I've really embracing prints recently, as seen in last week's pineapple OOTD. Unlike last week's fun print, this palm frond print is really gorge because of the monochrome colors. It makes it that much more versatile, despite being technically a fairly busy print.

I paired it with nude heels, a nude structured bag, and a thin maroon belt, but I can see this going the fun neon route, with bright highlighter-colored heels and a corresponding neon yellow clutch. Or you can just throw a black silk kimono over it and still wear it to work- something I've been doing a lot lately, especially when I know I'll be indoors where the vigorous AC will be making me shiver in no time. Death by heat outdoors and death by AC indoors. First world problems.

I love how structured and classic my Prada Saffiano looks. I have, however, been lusting after the more colorful, smaller cross-body versions- a bright strawberry version of the 1801, for example, may wander its way into my home.

Picked up the monkey for some wet kisses.

Aaaaand we're out! We sweated all the way home -_-

What is your favorite outfit or material for hot, humid summers?
