I'm On A Yacht Series: Korres Aloe Vera Aftersun Body Milk Product Review

About three years ago, I went to the Boryeong Mud Festival, a summer festival held in Korea celebrating the therapeutic mud that is made in a certain area. Everyone proceeded to cover themselves with mud and I refused because my neurotic tendencies just kept calculating how much bacteria were procreating in the mud. I just baked in the sun, and got one of the worst sunburns of my life. I legit had sun poisoning. I couldn't sleep from fever and my skin remained hot for a good 48 hours after my sun exposure. I eventually recovered but you'd better believe I've been careful about my tanning ever since.

I also fervently wish that I'd known about this Korres Aloe Vera Aftersun Body Milk at the time.

The perfect aftersun lotion, the aloe moisturizes and soothes all the burning sensation on your skin, and the avocado and provitamin B5 deeply hydrates your skin. The chamomile and calendula extracts softens and conditions.

Free of mineral oil, petrolatum, paraffin wax, silicones, parabens, propylene glycol, ethanol-amines, synthetic dyes, yada yada yada.

Goes on creamy and takes a bit of rubbing to completely soak in.

It certainly leaves the skin feeling smooth and there is a slight cooling sensation that I felt after application. The smell is clean and makes me feel utterly delicious after a day of soaking in the sun.

This product may have reduced my 48 hours of torture three years ago, and it's become a summer staple for me, alongside my suntan oils and sunglasses. I'm telling you right now that you are going to need this product in your bag all summer long. You can thank me later ^_~
