What's In My Makeup Bag #2: Mini Size

Here are the contents of my mini O.P.I. Makeup Bag! I got this bag as part of a bigger nail polish collection/set, but I find it perfect to store miniature versions of my makeup:

(from left to right, top to bottom) Cotton pads and swabs // Hair tie // Nars Tinted Moisturizer SPF 30 sample size // YSL Touche Eclat sample size // Oil blotting paper // Etúde House Apricot Lip Stick in Apple // Korres Mandarin Tinted Lip Stick SPF 15 in Rose // Smashbox lipgloss mini // Benefit Posie Tint mini // diptyque cologne sample size // Rimmel London Precision Eyeliner in 6 Black Magic // MAC Engraved Powerpoint Eye Pencil whittled down // MAC Liquidlast Liner // Chanel Inimitable Mascara mini in Pure Black // Rimmel London Pro Eyebrow Pencil in 004 Black Brown // Neutrogena mini Hand Cream // L'Occitane Hand Cream in Rose // MAC Studio Sculpt Concealer in NC20 // LUSH Lip Tint in It Started With A Kiss // LUSH Lip Tint in Snow Fairy // O.P.I. Avoplex Cuticle Oil To Go

I always like to keep a hair tie and face wash sample size in my makeup bags just in case I decide to pop over to a sauna after work for some bathing and steaming. This is only if I didn't plan and bring my sauna bag with me... that's another post. I used my face wash sample from Origins on the way to Europe so it's not pictured here.

I get so many samples when I buy my usual products because the girls at Nars, YSL, Dior, and Chanel know they'll meet their commission quota when I enter the premises ㅠㅠ. I have an entire bin filled with samples that I have to try, but I try to throw in the tried and true ones into my makeup bags to keep them as lightweight as possible.

The blotting papers come from a company called DHC. I haven't been able to figure out if they're a Japanese or Chinese brand but these are by far the best blotting papers for the cost. Ultra cheap but doesn't leave a dusty residue and works better than any powder.

When I've whittled down my eyeliner pencils to about finger length, I automatically throw them into my mini makeup bags. This goes for my eyebrow pencils as well.

I don't wear face makeup if I can help it, but the MAC Studio Sculpt Concealer in NC20 is a good backup/emergency concealer.

I always keep a good red tint on hand to transition from day to night. It immediately glamorizes an outfit with very little effort. It Started With A Kiss LUSH lip tint can also double as a blush, and the tint stays on for quite a long time. A little goes a long way, which is why I still haven't even made a dent in this even after 2 years. Same goes for Snow Fairy, but it comes out as a bubblegum pink. Both smell amazing, by the way.

O.P.I. Avoplex Cuticle Oil To Go is an essential for when my cuticles are dry and run the risk of tearing. I just dab a bit of this on them to keep them moisturized- saves me a lot of pain in the long run when hangnails tear off. I like this Cuticle Oil To Go because I don't have to dab my fingers into anything, thus keeping my hands oil-free to type on the keyboard or phone.

All of this seems like so much, but the mini makeup bag closes with ease and doesn't bulge! So tell me, what's in your makeup bags?
