Travels: Munich

I adore München. The Bavarian food is absolutely scrumdidliumptious and the people are super friendly. It's definitely my favorite city in Germany by far. We stopped by Munich last Friday to eat at THE most amazing Bavarian restaurant, Der Pschorr, which I'll do a Restaurant Review on in a future post. We spent a bit of the gloomy day leisurely strolling around Viktualienmarkt, which has a conglomeration of open market stalls and shops, tourists and residents starting their weekend.

This man reminded me of the Tin Man in The Wizard of Oz, so I gave him some coins. Love the stud detail on my Alexander Wang Rockie from this angle^__^

He was such a gentleman. My coins purchased me a photo opportunity and a wink.

Shirt- Zara // Jeans- Zara // Rain galoshes- Rockfish // Bag- Alexander Wang

Stalls upon stalls of juicy strawberries, seasonal white and green asparagus, tangy oranges, and ripe cherries.

This lady got her daily shopping in. I would love to shop my daily groceries of fresh fruits and vegetables from these stalls every morning. I would make it a bit of an outing with my dog.

Fresh fruit stands for fruit shakes, juices, or just the fruit whole.

Tourists and residents alike make the best of a cloudy morning.

Lebkuchenherz- gingerbread cookies in the shape of hearts. They have a plethora of cute nicknames and phrases on them.

Chocolate-y goodies and nuts.

I was given "Bärchen", or "little bear".

Clock on traditional architecture.

Have you ever been to Munich? Where are your favorite places to go?
