Product Review: Aēsop Rind Concentrate Body Balm

*This is a scheduled post!*

Aēsop is a lovely company from Australia- I say they're lovely because I appreciate a beauty/skincare company that doesn't brag about "how organic!" they are when in fact they're not all that organic.  Aēsop has a reputation for quality albeit pricey products and I am a fan of their "no animal testing" policy so I like to try out quite a bit of their stuff.

The Rind Concentrate Body Balm is one of my favorite products from Aēsop. I love the aluminum-esque squeeze-tube packaging- it reminds me of the quaint packaging from the 50s, and is one of the reasons why I like L'Occitane's hand creams as well. It's perfect for throwing into your suitcase for a weekend jaunt to the beach or the cabin by the lake (sounds like a horror story). The texture of the balm is lightweight cream, and requires a bit of friction to sink into the skin after application, so it's not as liquid-y as a body milk but lighter than a cream. After I put it on, it feels silky, slightly cool, and the citrus scent is strong but delicious. Of course, the only annoying part of this product is its price ($33.00 for a 4.1 fl oz tube) but I trust Aēsop's diligence in creating an ethical, high-quality product, so I'll shill over the money for this again.
