Product Review: Korres Basil Lemon Body Milk Review

(*This is a scheduled post to keep you guys happy while I'm on holiday! Kisses from Thailand!*)

More of my favorite brand: Korres! This time I'm reviewing the Korres Basil Lemon Body Milk.

What is a body milk and how is it different to body lotion? I've done some research and this is the best information I've found:

1) Body milk = more liquid-y, soft, and has milk protein + more vitamins.
2) Body lotion = lightweight moisturizer targeted for normal skin.
3) Body cream = thick, creamy, targeted for dry skin or winter usage.
4) Body butter = thick, more luxuriously creamy, may leave residue, definitely for dry skin.

Korres Basil Lemon Body Milk:
  • Smells amazing. All Korres products do, but the Basil Lemon in particular is one of my favorite scents to put on during the daytime because the zesty lemon perks me right up and gives me the illusion that I'm fresher than I may be.
  • Sinks right in. I really hate when I put on lotion, sit on a chair, and slide right off. The body milk is light enough to put on my hands, and literally one minute later I can type without any residue on my keyboard. I LOVE that about Korres body milks!
  • Because it sinks right in, a 200mL tube goes a long way. I don't feel like I need to rub in multiple times and then rub in some more because the lotion glides on and is absorbed quickly.

As with all Korres products, they use all natural ingredients, and their Green Guarantee ensures that they try to use hydroelectric power, 99% renewable packaging, etc, etc. This one in particular is 93% natural, and has extra almond oil which soothes and nourishes.

I never thought so many "NO"s would make me happy.

I'll buy this again for sure, especially for its lightweight formula and amazingly clean smells, and particularly for the spring season. I wish there was a Korres distributor in South Korea, but unless there's one I'm not aware of, or until someone brings it in, I'll happily order online.
