OOTD: Thailand Travel Edition

Tank Top- H&M // Cardigan- Vintage // Jeggings- Zara // Wedge Sandals- random Korean shop

Traveling from a cold country to a tropical country always annoys the heck out of me. I have to stuff my sweaters/duck-down jacket/scarves/boots into my luggage upon arrival, and do a quick Superman change in the bathroom of the airplane, bumping into the toilet and dropping my scarf into the sink- all one giant nightmare for a germaphobe like me. Thus, my solution for this is to wear layers and just strip down as I go progressively from one country to the next. It's either that or wear my shorts and shirt in Korea's 3°C weather, jump into a taxi, book it to the airport and shiver as I run from the taxi into the airport.

Despite the allure of this comically frantic scene, I've decided to be a bit more level-headed and wear super light layers, as I will have a stopover in Singapore on my way to Koh Samui. Changi Airport in Singapore also likes their AC a little too much, so I'll need a light cardigan/jacket to prevent myself from becoming an icicle while doing some damage in the duty-free shops.

The next post will be from the beautiful island of Koh Phangan! Thailand, here I come!

Edit:
I'm at Incheon International Airport now, waiting for my midnight flight. All the duty free shops here close at 9:30PM, so after security and customs, I made a mad dash for the shops. This is what I managed in 15 minutes:

The new Ray Ban Wayfarers RB2132- love the subtle tortoiseshell frame!

All the shops in Incheon Airport are now closed... but Singapore duty free awaits!
